About Sugaring

Sugaring is a gentle, natural way to remove unwanted hair while treating your skin. It adheres to hair, not skin, for a less painful, more comfortable experience.

At PEACH + SILK, we use pure sugar paste from Radeq Lab, made with just sugar and water — no additives, fillers, or citric acid. Our process is cruelty-free, vegan, and microbiome-friendly, so you can feel good about caring for your skin and the planet.

The Perfect Length

Ideal hair length: 6mm — about the size of a jasmine rice grain. If longer, we’ll trim it. Just shaved? Wait 10–14 days for regrowth.

Prep Tips

nervous about pain?

A little discomfort is normal, especially for first-timers or those sensitive to pain. Consider taking painkillers 30 minutes before if needed. On your period? Book earlier in your cycle. Need a break? Just say the word — we're here for your comfort.

Step Three

What To Expect During Sugaring

Blood Spots: What’s The Deal?

Small ones can happen when capillaries rupture. It’s common with sensitive skin or coarse hair — usually no big deal. Anything unusual? Tell us right away.

Feeling Overwhelmed?

If you’re feeling uncomfortable, just let us know. We’re all about your comfort, so feel free to take a breather and catch your breath. We’ve got your back.

Step Four

How To Care For Your Skin After Sugaring

Post-Sugaring No-Gos

Avoid for 48 hours: workouts, tight clothing, exfoliating, swimming, spas, hot tubs, suntanning — anything that creates heat or sweat.

Skin Reactions: What To Expect

Bumps or redness are normal, especially if it’s your first time or after a break — it’ll settle in 48–72 hours. Avoid heat, heavy/creamy products and picking on your skin. Doing your face or back? Do a patch test.

Ditch The Razor

Shaving causes ingrowns + disrupts smoothness. Stick to regular sugaring for best results especially in areas where hair grows in different directions.

Getting Intimate?

It’s best to hit pause for 24–48 hours post-Brazilian or bikini. Freshly sugared skin is sensitive — sweat and bacteria can irritate or cause ingrowns.

Step Five

Your Next Sugaring Session

Lock in your next session early to catch those hairs at their weakest and start refining regrowth from the get-go. Typically, a 4 to 6-week routine is your sweet spot for achieving lasting hair reduction.

Don’t forget, regrowth is personal. Your Brazilian might bounce back faster than your arms or legs, so tune in to what your body needs.
